 Hello and welcome back! Hope the holidays treated you well. The new year is upon us and I hope for it to be a great one.
But what does this mean for Noble Phantasm?
It means that we're that much closer to an Aion release (hopefully) and that activity will start ramping up again since the holiday is meant to be spent with your family (though Noble Phantasm is of course family as well ^_~). So to anyone who applied during this slow month the officers of Noble Phantasm thank you for your patience. We've definitely had our hands full with all the traveling, visiting, and preparing. But now we're back in action!
To our members, I'd like to thank everyone who's been keeping the forums from being totally void of activity. Reinforcements are on their way so don't worry and keep posting! Hopefully new information will be coming our way from Korea as well so we can put Tylendel our intrepid translator to work (love you Ty ^_~).
But it also means spring cleaning is coming soon. So start stock piling those dusters, collect some mops, and break out that all purpose cleaner. Noble Phantasm will be doing some organizing and reorganizing now that our officers have some time on their hands. Chop chop people!

Well we've finally done it! We've discussed it and debated it, and drew up a DKP system that we hope will work well for our guild. The idea behind the system was to avoid inflation issues, while still avoiding senior members from getting cheated by new ones, but also making the system consistent while leaving room for human judgements to be made. Basically, if anyone has any questions about why we did this or that in the system, please ask because a lot of thought went into every detail. You can check out the dkp system's details Here!
One other interesting thing we're doing is giving an incentive to everyone who participates in Noble Phantasm's large events all the way up to the expansion. The system itself won't take effect until we beging raiding in Wrath of the Lich King, but anyone who's faithfully helping out with raids now will be rewarded dkp they can start with in the expansion. With only three big Saturday raids left until Wrath of the Lich King, we've decided that each one members are on-time, signed up, and prepared for will award them 5dkp per raid.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns or anything, please feel free to ask me or any other officer and we'll help you out as soon as we can. Additionally, it's a good idea to read through the new DKP system in the News and Information section sooner than later just so you can know and comment if needed. As a side note, the entire system is based purely off theory. We likely will make tweaks and changes as we go along to make improvements where improvements are needed.
The Noble Phantasm website is finally up and completed. Well, almost completed. Nanahana still wants to work on the background image, some of the buttons, and we'd like to have a new artpiece for the www.noblephantasm.com page (which will link to here). However, we decided that with the bot issues we were experiencing, and with the several features this site has to offer, it'd be better to launch the site now instead of wait for a few more graphics which could take several more weeks.
In any case, please browse around the site as you need. Be sure to fill out an application as well (at least the parts required) so I can give you member access to the site. Please be sure to ask any questions if you have any. Take care and have fun.
